AIRBNB – "DON’T JUST SEE A PLACE”

In the summer of 2025, Airbnb expanded beyond offering only Homes to also providing Experiences and Services. To promote Airbnb’s updated business model, we created social media native videos instructing people to not “just see a place” like an ordinary tourist, but to truly “Experience it” instead (with Airbnb of course!). The video campaign focused on a dozen major international cities, promoting 3 exciting experiences in each metropolis in a quirky, fun, fast-paced, collage-like, and internet-y fashion.

I had the pleasure of editing and animating two of these cities: Lisbon and São Paolo (coincidentally both Portuguese-speaking). It was truly an extraordinary creative and collaborative experience.

Additionally, I made 6 second versions showcasing a broad offering of Experiences across multiple global cities, as well as one with an emphasis on food, one for LA, and one for Tokyo.

And finally I made these 6 second GIFs inviting people to not simply visit different cities, but to experience them with the locals that know them best.
